It's a Herald 0-130VAC 50/60Hz Variable Voltage Regulator. I was watching a Veriac all week for $30 with $25 shipping. It sold for $50 plus shipping. I got this one for $35 shipped.
eBay score (I hope). Is this the same as a Veriac?

Sometimes you need to break shit to fix it.... Thats why my lawnmower doesn't have a deadman switch or engine brake anymore

What is its power rating (in VA?)
(VA = reactive power. Multiply typical small TV power by 1.5x to get VA, large TV is 1:1 if using PFC circuit)Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by DXseekerMOHello everyone!
Recently I've noticed that some ShopJimmy backlight strips don't have double-sided tape installed upon them when an application calls for it, and I must purchase the tape separately. In a recent chat conversation with a customer service agent I told them if this tape wasn't applied when it was called for I would begin to consider ordering my backlight strips elsewhere. It looks like this time may have come.
I recently got a TCL 65S4 with bad backlights. After looking at the SJ listing here: https://www.shopjimmy.com/tcl-jl-d65...365as-m-led-ba...Yes0%1All backlight strips are the same quality0%1No0%0 -
by AndreasbestHello.
I just solved a mystery with the right USB or HDMI/Displayport or Ethernet or 3.5" jack of Fujitsu Lifebook E558 going suddenly dead.
I realized i had 6 pieces of the same model with the exact same issue, nothing on google, neither schematics so i had to dig in my self and provide feedback here in case someone else has the same issue.
I found out that the USB daughterboard is connected to the mainboard with 2 wide and non bending flex tapes that are 2mm longer than they should and this results in a constant pressure on flex connector and therefore eventually it cracks... -

Motherboard: Gigabyte B250M-Gaming 3. Because I had it floating around and the model number contains gaming so it must be better, right? Free.
Storage: 240GB WD Easystore SSD. As far as I know, it's just the Best Buy rebadge of...-

by myth77When i need to replace cpu or gpu or pch ...i mostly order reballed chip from china, but lately there are more broken ones then working.
So lately i tried with ebay "not working motherboards". I ordered a few broken motherboards from ebay but i have found out that there are many scammers on ebay. The most of them are selling already destroyed motherboards with pictures in low resolution, some of them are being scammed and just scam forwarding...
First board i ordered last month was ok. Cpu was dead but i could use gpu and pch. The second arrived 2 weeks ago...and it was... -

You find these on ebay all the time. Seller feedback is good in regards to them being legit...but I'm still leary. Anyone with experience with these? Seems quite a few around here are running enterprise; and unless ya'll are stealing the keys from your employers, where are you getting them?-
