I have a TC-P55VT30 that's having some odd display issues. I've searched the forums and have found somewhat similar issues, but they seem quite the same. Of course, its always a matter of what to search for...
Here's what's going on. I'm seeing faint images of things that were on the display previously in various situations. Its not burn-in because they're images that were only on the screen for <30seconds.
For instance, I started up the TV cold and went into the setting menu. I was poking around for a minute or two. I then got out of the menu, switched to the AppleTV input and turned on the AppleTV. On the menu display which has a dark gray/black background, the top of the screen was flashing somewhat brighter and I could see ghost images of "Viera Link" from the settings menu.
In another case, while watching, there was a bright screen and, in the top half, I saw (in cyan-ish color) the image of the Netflix episode guide that I'd had stepped through about 10 minutes before. I wasn't only on that screen for <10s. So, again, I wouldn't think it to be burn in.
Otherwise, the TV's works fine. There's no LED blinking at startup or anything. But, just to be safe, I've stopped watching (based on what I've read on other threads) it and disconnected it from power.
Any help would be appreciated.
