ok so i have accessed the service menu then test pattern but it only gives the the option of
reading pc mode and Frsc pc mode on off ?

another thing ive noticed is the tv is making a slight screaching sound from the panel when in service mode

update:
remembered when i fixed the last led tv i done with a picture fault so i pressed on the part i have uploaded and now the picture is back its not 100% but its better but still have the screaching noise

Looks like another Samsung BGA failure causing the issue then.
You could get it reballed if you know someone doing that.
Or otherwise you will have to replace the main board.

I have had a bit of success reflowing that exact BGA chip on the same model TV (there is a thread somewhere on here...)

Eventually the same board developed a different fault (No longer got any signal) but worked for a few months - And C Series main boards are very pricey!
