hi sir.this tv is gift from my dad's boss he brought it from china i am from pakistan.it's new and we first time open and play it.we have lg lcd tv already all stuf play fine on that tv.i have search alot about it and i come to know it has soap opera effect/trumotion problem picture seems like handy cam video feel like reality not movies things move fast like a boat in the sea .u watch it for 5 minutes it causes a headache.the main problem is that this tv has no such option to turn off these effects and it has no online support and no any upgrade software.this tv is definitely a smart tv but on internet they have'nt mention it.it has 3 usb port 2 hdmi 1 vga.we try hard to reset it but it isnt resetting.we are kind of electronics lover so we understand a little bit but we need an expert's opinion like u.plz help me to solve this issue.ur help will be defintely appriciated.

bro it's a-b model my tv's model number is pled5529a-55. i have already check this manual but nothing.i open the menu and apply 1147 on it.it opened a new menu which have strange settings like cti emc p-q linear etc

Unfortunately I've had a few TVs myself - such as one Samsung model - where the motion FRC could not be turned off. Some TVs I saw had a "game mode", which would disable all processing, including this, to reduce processing latency for gamers. Maybe try that?

Did you try a factory reset /system reset - may be an option in the ordinary menu.

Perhaps post pictures of the menus you have ,someone may recognise somethng

different set but can you do this?

when i hooked this up and popped in the avatar blu-ray disc i was in absolute shock and horror. seriously. everything looked like a "behind the scenes" footage. it looked so... real -- in a bad way. very bad, like documentary style. so here were these very real, down-to-earth people, and then very strange effects around them. it made even one of the best actors (sigourney weaver) seem like one of the worst. i was trying every adjustment to contrast/brightness/saturation/sharpness... nothing worked. i was majorly distraught, trying to figure out how to go about shipping this back and the whole process and ordeal. i even tried some old regular dvds. same thing. bad acting, cheap looking documentary camera. finally, in "advanced picture" options, i went in and turned EVERYTHING off. all of the little extra picture "enhancing" settings -- 3 menus deep! seriously, EVERYTHING off. and voila. an awesome, truly CINEMATIC picture. thank goodness. great tv... some of the worst default settings in the history of default settings. be prepared for this, or you will return it unnecessarily. you're welcome, wal-mart, i just saved you a ton in shipping costs if anyone reads this review.

thanx alot for ur effort bro..unfortunately there is no enhancement no advance menu couldn't find anything helpfull..
