Good, we just have to verify that.
Did this low lights problem happen all the suddenly?

BTW, did you already try reseating the connectors on the LED strip.

Re: SAMSUNG led un32eh4003f Plays melody No picture & led blink

"What should the voltage be on pins 1/2 and 4/5? I get 22.4 V on each set with pin1 to chassis - 152V, Pin 2 - 129V, pin 4 - 129V and pin 5 - 107V." I do not quite understand you measurement as to the reading of all the pins, is it against GND?
"with pin1 to chassis - 152V" So the measurement is made between pin 1 (red probe) and GND (Black probe)?
"and pin 5 - 107V" Is it also between pin 5 and GND?
Disconnect the LED CABLE and take the reading again between pin 1 and GND to see if it is >200VDC.

Re: SAMSUNG led un32eh4003f Plays melody No picture & led blink

Voltage readings were taken between Gnd and each pin. I also took the voltage reading between pins 1 and 2 - 22.4V and pins 4 and 5 - 22.4 v. This is a brand new TV that has been sitting in storage long enough for the warranty to run out!
Disconnecting the LED cable seems to shut down the voltage to that connector. I do read 176V on pin 1 but it slowly discharges a cap and by the time I check the other pins they are at 0V.

Re: SAMSUNG led un32eh4003f Plays melody No picture & led blink

          OK, so from what I see is that the Voltage drops on each string is only about 23V, 152V - 129V = 23V, 129V - 107 = 22V.
mangus580 was getting 211V (open circuit, and you get 176V) so your boosted Voltage is low based on your measurement.
So we need to do more in depth troubleshooting.
          This is your board, right?

BTW, how many LEDs are there total?

Yes, that is my board. There are two LED strips each with 9 LEDs.

              So it has 18 LEDs total, 3.5V x 18 LEDs = 63V, 63V /2 = 31.5V Vdrops per strip and you are getting about 22~23V.

Power Supply board is definitely bad. Checked another one and the voltage across each LED array varies from 20V with back-light set to 0 to 105V with back-light set to maximum of 20.
                Thanks

Finally managed to fix mine today, replaced 7 leds, 5 were shorted out and 2 were open. I wrapped 24 gauge wire aroud the tips of my multi-meter and pushed them under the lenses on the sides to test each led. I then heated up the under side of the strip with the hot air wand until the lens came free from the bad ones. Then using the tip I read on badcaps I used a 100 watt iron and a big blob of solder under the led until it came loose. New (used) leds were harvested from a smashed apex I picked up yesterday. and reattached the same way, super glued the lenses back on after testing to make sure it would stay on.

troubleshooting Fet KN6N60 and IC 3S111 both of them broken. The power supply board is working now, the voltage out is normal 116VDC at D+,D- when measure with the chasis. When i plug in the power suply, the red light is On, and also has the sound starting ON. But the LED backlight is still blind, not working. I measure all the voltage in the large connection in the board power supply follow the table on the top layer. Every pins has normal voltage except one, this is Pin 6 different, when turn On/off it still 0 V. Could you please suggessted any idea for me right now, tks for help alot.
P/s: i have already checked the LEd strip backlight one by one, all LEd light still good ( checked by 3V battery and 100ohm)

If you disconnect the mainboard do the backlights come on and stay on.

yep, thanks a lot. But, I think that my problem is not related with power supply board and backlights Led string now. Because untill now, i have already fixed power supply board, and the TV became normally except not picture. When I turned on/off, the Led light on the bottom display the same, meaning it's working normally. The backlight is the same, working still good. The only problem now is not picture, i think that display board (depicted on below) is not working now. Do you guys have any idea about this, waiting more helps from you guys.

I have this TV with the same power controller. LED backlight went out.

I get power on with 6 red blinks. I can see letters with flashlight test.

I tested and have full voltage between D+ and chassis.

Connected, I have a drop between D+ and S-. But get zero at D-. So, looks like I have one bad strip.

I removed black cable from S- and D- and plugged S- into D-. Turned on TV and it lit up. My understanding is this is too many LEDs to have omitted to keep running (too much power?). I've also read some people replace the LED s with Christmas lights, etc. Anyway, just thought I'd offer that up for anyone else troubleshooting.
