    Rca 42pa30rq troubles

    I'm trying to troubleshoot this RCA 42PA30RQ. It clicks on then clicks off right away. I did the disconnect test and have narrowed it down to the T-Conn board (I think) When the T-Conn board is disconnected from Power Board it only clicks on. When connected on then off. Tried disconnecting all the other connections to the T-Conn but still click on click off...Bad T-Conn? Or? None of the other boards affect it connected or not.

      Most likely, Y-main/X-main/Y-buffer fault.

      The controller / T-con will send the on/off signals, but just because these go away with it disconnected, does not mean it is bad.

      Do you have a digital multimeter available?

                  After replacing the ymain, xmain and y buffer it works like new...nice tv. It also has the tuner that will get the hd cable channels we have here on channels 1005-1011 without a cable box.

                      I am hoping to get some advice. I have a 2020 13" Macbook Pro - A2251 that wouldn't turn on. I have done lots of electronics repair in the past but never on Macbooks. I have had this laptop sitting around and I finally decided to take a look at it and see if I could spring some life into it.

                      First, it wouldn't boot up at all. I did a DFU restore and managed to get it to power on. Did a full restore but the battery was dead and wouldn't charge. I put in a new battery in it but now it won't boot up when the new battery is connected. I ordered a second new battery just in case,...

                      Hello everyone,

                      I have a Lenovo V15-IKB that had a damaged motherboard. I replaced it with a motherboard from a Lenovo V15-IIL.

                      The board powers on, but it shuts down after about 10-15 seconds. This only happens when the internal display (LCD panel) is connected.

                      Here's what I've tried so far:
                      • When the internal display is disconnected, the laptop works perfectly fine via HDMI.
                      • The laptop shows an image on the internal display for a few seconds before it shuts down.
                      • I tried swapping the LCD panel with a known good one.
                      • I tried swapping the LCD cable

                      This was a no power initially. Thanks to your help, I discovered it was the first mosfet, so I replaced. Now, the device will power up only if the battery is NOT connected. As soon as I connect the battery, it shuts off. If I connected the battery while the device is off, it simply will not respond to the power button. I replaced the battery, and while I suppose the new battery could be faulty, I'm assuming it is not. I'm having the same behavior with the new battery. I measure .2v at the charging coil. Manually applying power to the + and - at the battery header, there is no charging happening....

                      Hello. I have a problem with a PS5 console that I bought to learn electronics repair. The auction description indicated that the console had been dropped.                       Hi i have an issue with LG 42lw4500 wich after pressing the power button flashes red then goes solid white light 2 clicks and nothing , the weird thing is SOMETIMES if i leave the tv plugged in it would come on and fuction normally (i should mention that vertical rectangle going from the bottom to the top of the screen have some red dot artafacts it only appear in somthing like the tv input menu and any input i give like vga , but not in the system menu , i thought i should mention this , i cannot confirme if the tv had this issue when it was up and running in its previous owner . ) when checking...
