hey guys I know I'm probably answered my own question but I picked up this Mitsubishi from a friend who wanted me to repair it for him he said it just started doing this I can see data in the lines that are visible but they constantly change. Followed by a vertical streaks the typical bad that panel look I don't believe it's the main board as it is feeding video to the t-con board. I'm reluctant to say that the t-con board is defective I have checked all ribbons and this is 120 Hertz from the early years of 2008 so it uses to LVDS cables. I've tried disconnecting ribbons to the panel pressed on tab bonds to no avail. Do you think it could be a bad panel? Or would it possibly be at tcon board at times there's no video except for lines horizontally at other times there streaks and lines sometimes I can see a partial picture and the one third quarter of the screen horizontally and I can make it out like in image two.
panel is made by Samsung and it has four individual ribbon cables going from the T CON board into the panel

Very likely a bad panel.

I agree with Tom66, this is the deal i saw after I tried to fix a bad tab bond on a 46" version of this unit. I accedently shorted the TFT board by pressing to hard on a metal piece and the end result was what you are seeing.

You can try to see if you can fix the tabs but I dont see it being fixed.
