Transporting plasma from warm to cold to warm

I will hopefully get a call to pick up my 60" plasma from the shop, warranty work.
Am I right to be concerned about thermal problems with the glass panel and screen during transport? Heated shop to cold p/u truck to heated home.
It would be in a box, temps around here lately during the day running around 35-50.

Bo Darville: Sure, ask me what?
Cleedus: What the Hell do we want to go to Texas for and haul beer back here? What is that?
Bo: For the good old American life. For the money, the glory, and the fun. Mostly for the money.

I've done the opposite - cold shed to warm house. 20C difference. Only concern would be condensation, so allow any to dry off before powering up.

Yeah Tom, we've been without this for so long, not a problem waiting a few hours to warm up and dry out. Thanks!

You should be fine yes if you let the TV warm up at home and give any condensation time to clear, before switching on. Bit off the subject, but I heard so many unlikely explainations before from people of how their TV or cellphone screen was still fine before they went to bed, but cracked the morning when they woke up because of "the cold weather during the night"

              Neelix,
I've read that about tv panels and about panels cracking during use. My guess is the expansion and contraction. Some experts on here, Tom66 for one, would know if maybe some panels are mounted in a way that keeps them from expanding and contracting thermally leading to a stress crack. I know my plasma would run warm, I think I'll run mine on a "power saver" mode when I get it back. I want to make it last untill the prices for new tech tvs get to the affordable range.
