    Panasonic TH42PX600U relay stop click.

Guys I need some adivce on this Tv,Picked up this TV from a lady she said tv does not turn on any more, brought it home ,remove the back and cleaned it up it was pretty dusty, removed and clean the main cable terminal to the SS and SC board. After finish cleaning , connect the cable back to SS and SC board power on the TV heard three clicks (three different relay) and to my surprise the TV came on .
The picture is beautiful every thing looks normal .after a few days on power on the tV start right up no problem , about two days ago I power up the TV it came on fine but I no longer hear the relays click any more , should I be concern about the relay not clicking No click neither on or off.

Thanks TW2005 ,No The tv ran for about two days , Shuts it down before going to sleep then turn it on again the next morning.

As I said the TV does turn on like normal by the power on button and with the remote control but just do not hear the relay click any more.

On some Panasonic sets, the relay will click off about 5 minutes after you turn the set off. This means if you turn it on, the relay will not click on again. this is because the set will check the TV guide update after it turns off.

Sort of thinking along the same line as Tom. If it works, it works . i would not worry. With my Tv I know if shutdown and turn on with remote shortly after , no click at all, the relays are still latched. Might get a single click after a few minutes and they do cycle the A board in standby searching in standby for updates over the air.

Thanks Tom66 & TW2005, early this morning I remove the main power cable wait about half hour disconnect the lead to the SS & SC board re connect power cable, power up the Tv got 7 blink remove the main power waited about an hour, connect back the SS and SC and the power , using the remote control power on the Tv heard three relay click , shut it down and restart no click so I think it is a go ,now I can replace the back cover .

Panasonic TH-50PX8EA Black screen, only relay clicks
                by Rensiee
                Hello,
I have been reading a few threads on here regarding Panasonic plasma tv's. I've found one thread which explains the same problem as mine, unfortunately the thread has not been completed.
I got a free tv (TH-50PX8EA) from a friend which shows no screen. When plugged in only one red light shows up and when pushing the ON button, the red LED turns of and will only turn on again when pressing the ON button again.

When plugging in the TV i hear two relays click fast and after a few seconds the third relay clicks.
I have measured the voltage in the VSUS line, which...

Seven Leagues Slot Machine stop button issues
                by x_orange90_x
I don't know if anyone here has experience with Japanese slot (pachislo) machines, but I sure hope so. I bought this machine last week in semi-working order. It would play and the reels would spin, but the stop buttons would not stop them at all. I found that the high-frequency filtering tantalum capacitor was bad on the reel stop board, along with the fuse being blown. I replaced the fuse and removed the capacitor. I haven't replaced the cap yet because I didn't have one on hand, but it's not necessary for the operation of the machine.

The issue now is the Stop buttons are intermittently...

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
                by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing hereπŸ€”?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting πŸ˜‚.

                Repair Success! Middle Atlantic UPS2200R-IP
                by valvashon
Yesterday I successfully repaired a Middle Atlantic UPS2200R-IP that had inadvertently been used as a surge suppressor at our transmitter site. It has already been replaced with an updated one but it's coming home with me now instead of being e-cycled. To be specific, this is the MA model that has the blue backlit display and has been discontinued, although this design may have been used in many UPS units including the smaller Middle Atlantic ones in this series.

Here's what happened: We experienced a brownout/surge at the site, which damaged the UPS and took our broadcasting...

                9V relay temperature 40C
                by jm1234
Hi, I'm seeing one 9V relay having temperature 40C on its 9V (primary) side. Does that seem right? I switched 2 relays on that board and the temperature was the same (on the same position), so I'm sure it's not a faulty relay. I measured voltage on that relay and it was 9.5V DC, so that looks good. I don't see any other relay on that board having that kind of temperature and they have 9V on them too.
I thought maybe the transistor that is switching this relay keeps switching on/off, so I also checked for AC and there was almost none: 0.3V using mV range. No steady frequency was shown, but...
