capacitor values for a Samsung t5054 plasma 50" y main board

Have a Samsung t5054 and it doesn't turn on but powers on. There is a fuse blown on the board and someone put 25v capacitors on c5709 and C5300, luckily the fuse blew so it did no other damage but I need values in order to put new capacitors on. Third pic is the blown green fuse that will need to be replaced. Please help

OK--Ive got one of those, Looks like it is the same one as I initially thought it was.

List the caps that are suspect and I can check against this board I have....

I guess you've checked the upper buffer for shorts and the rest of the ymain transistors like the 88N30W for shorts? This series is notoriously for Sound no picture, dead ymain and upper buffer. Also the PSUs can have issues with dry/cracked joints on the heatsinked fets.

            5709 = 680uF, 25v 5300 = 680uf 25v So--Whoever changed 'em used the right voltage-rating and isnt your fault.
As TW says--Buffers are a problem with these sets, so are the power devices on this Y-SUS board.

When you finally get the thing working--Worth checking the tightness of the screws holding ALL the power devices to the heatsink. Ive found in every one Ive done, these slack and could hinder heat transfer away from the devices.....

Thanks for the info, I soldered on new fuse f5700 which is a 1amp on y main board as well as those capacitors with new ones and no change. Fuse did not blow this time. I will now have to check voltages and transistors again. And yes I found these y buffers go the most.

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
                by Asraf Atb
                Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

LG 55NANO77SRA TV – Menu scrolling by itself even after removing button board (Main Board EBU66792103)
                by ygorsan
                Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help with a persistent issue on an LG TV model 55NANO77SRA, which uses the main board EBU66792103 (also used in LG UQ80 and NANO75/NANO80 series).

                🧩 Problem Summary:
                • The TV keeps scrolling through the menu or selecting items by itself.
                • I removed the physical button board (the entire panel with power and volume buttons) and also disconnected the flat cable (CN202) from the main board.
                • The remote control is not in use (batteries removed), and the TV still shows the same behavior.

                Samsung UN75RU8000FXZA bad main board?
                by Lee M.
When plugged in it will click and cycle the BL on and off, no pic and does not respond to remote. When I disconnect the cable from the PS board to the main board and then plug it in the BL will come on and stay on. There are only two boards in this set, the LVDS cables from the panel driver boards connect directly to the main board. Since the BL comes on and stays on I'm thinking the PS board is ok and the problem is on the main board. Should I order another main board or do I need to do more testing? thanks, Lee

Samsung 50" plasma PS50Q97 with a dead main board
                by dokma
                Hello forum!

This is my fourth post so I will try to start on the right foot by doing it properly right off the bat. I bought this plasma faulty to play around with. The main board is completely burnt. When I unplug everything but the power supply and the main board and I plug in the power chord I get plenty of smoke from the main board.

Now, the model of the TV is a bit of a detective work. I couldn't find the model of the TV anywhere on the back cover or inside so I deduced it from the main board codes. SO I THINK this is PS50Q97.

                Now, since the board is...
