I am a novice when it comes to repairing TV's. To date I have repaired a Sanyo 46 inch LCD, a Phillips 37 inch LCD, and a Vizio 42 inch LCD. I have done this only because of the help of this site. I am a little proud when it comes to asking for help and with extensive reading, I have a better understanding of TV's. When I started, I didn't even know what parts were involved with a tv. I chuckle when I see people ask for help and they do not even know how to use a meter. You veterans have a lot of patience. thank you, thank you for your dedicated support.

by capwizardHow to deal with huge LCD screen when we are replacing the TV LED backlight?
Does anyone have a better way to deal with 70-inch TV or above LCD screens which are very easy to break when we change the LED backlight?
I'd broken 10 TV screens already.
One of my friend has 75 inch edge TV with one LED not working. I said : just leave it alone.
Is there a better way to ensure that the LED TV screen will not break? I need 100%. I can't afford the Robot either. -
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to recover a Fujitsu Lifebook E5513 (most likely 2023 model) that was bricked during a BIOS update. The update was interrupted (probably due to power loss), and now the laptop is stuck in a boot loop showing "PBB rollback" / "SBB rollback" messages.
BIOS access (F2) and Boot Menu (F12) are no longer possible – the system instantly reboots after the rollback messages.
I extracted the official BIOS update package from Fujitsu (contains FJNB2FD.CAP, ~18.7 MB) and tried tools like UEFIExtract, but it seems to only contain...-

by SluggerBYes it's a 17 year old Panasonic plasma!
I was watching TV when there was a huge lighting strike nearby my house that shook the house. When that happened, the picture on the TV froze and the TV wouldn't turn off except by pulling the power cable. Now if you plug in the TV, it seems to turn on (it makes the turn on "clikcs" it always does, the red power light comes on but there is no picture, although I can see the back light around the edges. And the TV doesn't respond to the power button on the remote to turn off, and doesn't respond to the manual power button on the front... -
by mavaroHi, I have a problem with MACBOOK A1990 - The laptop starts with no image when the battery is connected, but without the battery it starts with an image - however, when using only the power supply, when logging into the system it turns off and resets again.
Battery replaced with another unit → same problem.
ISL9239 replaced → no change.
SMBUS_BATT_SCL / SDA measure ~20-50kΩ to GND with battery disconnected (normal).
Any ideas or advice would be a huge help!
Thanks in advance for your time. - Loading...
