    Sharp LC32D44U

hey all, i have a sharp LC32D44U that will not stay on, sometimes it will come back on by itself then turn back on. I can hear the relay clicking when it does this, and it's flashing a error code 2x power flash and 7x OPC. I found a service manual for the tv at https://www.scribd.com/doc/142227777/Sharp-Lc-32d44u and it says the reason for this flashing is a main failure, and describes Main microprocessor detection error (FAN error, 1bitAMPerror, etc.)The details are displayed in “ERROR STANDBY CAUSE” onpage 1 of process A mode for the main microprocessor. I cant seem to find where in the service manual it goes in depth on that error code issue or what to test. i will post pictures tomorrow since it's dark here right now and pictures are blurry, was hoping someone was familiar with this issue. thanks everyone

    Re: Sharp LC32D44U

Just wanted to post back on this tv, I didn't get around to posting pictures of the boards due to vehicle issues that required immediate attention.

The issue with this tv was a bad bulb. I realize there were threads started on this model that the flashes indeed indicated the bulb was an issue, however the service manual didn't pinpoint this being the issue for me given the amount of blinks I had. From further investigation, this particular TV seems to be notorious for blown bulbs, and I fear only replacing one means the other may soon follow behind and go out too, but with limited money I will be replacing the one that is blown, and moving the new one to the top or bottom since the blown one is in the middle. I assume the new bulb may or may not be brighter than the others which is my reasoning for moving an old one to the middle and placing the new one elsewhere. Thank you everyone for all the help you provide others.
