no signs of craters in the buffers.
Screen wont lit.
My lack of experience in plasmas its unacceptable, i always need directions.

Check if there's a green light lit on the Y-main.
Do you have a scope?

green light there!
Scope coming this month, unfortunately the chinese holidays will postpone it more.

That light indicates protect fault. Try pulling buffer boards one at a time and see if it goes (you might also get half a picture)

the upper buffer has a minimal crack in the second chip (from the top). can you teach me how to check this for short?
the green light is still there. ill have all buffer boards disconnected and closely inspected.
