Bit of an odd one.
The usual access method gives the 'self-test' and factory-reset mode, but not the service-menu.
42PZ700U Service-Manual says--
While pressing [VOLUME ( - )] button of the main unit, press [RECALL] button of the remote control three times within 2
seconds.
But--There's no 'Recall' button on the original correct remote for the set. (UK set)
--Tried the return button, nothing, as well as exit and guide buttons,--Think now, Ive tried 'em all!
Tried the 'I' (info) button, both continuous and three times, both give the self-test/reset (Which is annoying, as the set then goes through all the tuning set-up and all that jazz)
Tried the 'Menu' button, both continuous and three times within 2 seconds--again (and expected) the reset/self-test.
Any ideas?--Ive another PZ70, Never had a prob accessing on that one, but this is a PZ700
