does anyone on this fantastic site know how to reset to factory setting on this tv ?
have had a search around the net, and tryed all the codes i could find, and nothing has worked,
i must point out that i only have a universal remote that i can use 90% of the function on this tv, MENU, numbers,ect.
thank you for any help that you may be able to give.

What brand and model of universal remote are you using.
I know this is tedious but if you have a jp1 type remote you could
manually punch in all 246 extended function codes (efc) and see if one of those
will activate it just like it got me into my service menu on my olevia tv

brand is SIGNALEX 10 in 1 remote, that any good ?

So far i doesn't look like that remote will do typically some thing
made by urc and similar will work. Does the remote have any plug in
pins or pads where the pins would be this would be located in the battery compartment
also explain how it is programed this may help me
The jp1 remote's have a program button or "magic" button that you hold until
the led blinks twice and then you enter your tv code if your remote is like this it might have the efc's

no pins, but, hold tv button for 5 seconds and light stays on, then enter code for tv,
which i must say none of the codes worked, so had to auto search

Pretty sure that remote wont work all jp1 remote's have a seperate program button
and not by holding the device button down until it lights up

ok, no probs, thanks for trying,
i have just found out that the tv make HAIER has the same model number LCD32-M3 so im going to try that reset code, will let you know later.

On technikas its usally " menu 4725" depending on the chassis.

useing the haier code for service menu works, but can only access while in analoge tv mode,
i can access 2 menus, but don't see any factory reset.

The motherboard is actually a haier, pull up menu, hi-lite “audio” then enter 8893 I believe this will bring up another menu with a factory install option could you try this ?
