    Samsung LN65B650X1F connector for light driver boards

    Hey all.
    My tv went out on me a bit ago. I was able to find the problem that the connectors for the master and slave light boards had been fried. The boards seem intact with the only damage being on the connectors. I can't seem to get any specs on the actual connectors as what size or 'pitch' as I was asked by a tech at digikey. If anyone has info much appreciated
    light board part # VIT71879.00 & .01 Master .02 & .03 Slave
    I have attached (I think) pictures of the connector.

      It looks like IDC 20-PIN, more likely to be 0.050" or 0.10" pitch? just have to measure it, similar to one used on IDE Hard drive connector.

          Problem

          This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

          Hey Everyone,

          So I've got this Samsung and the reported issue is that when powered on the backlight comes on, but no picture, no sound, it will flicker, the standby light will flash red twice and repeat the whole process...each loop lasts about 15 seconds.

          I've googled the issue and understand it is likely a panel/driver board issue, but was hoping the "tape method" could be successful. Before I did that though, I disconnected the left LVDS cable and powered the TV on. This time I got sound, no picture and the two blink standby light stopped. Did the same...

          Hi, I did look everywhere to know if Samsung Y Main boards LJ92-01732A without rev marking is compatible with LJ92-01732A rev AA2.

          If they are not compatible why did Samsung give them the same part number to begin with?

          I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?.
