    Hello,

I also own Vizio XVT3D474SV and it is havibng the same problem described above. I changed the Main Baord but the problem persist...so now i am left with two other options - replace power board or replace t-con board.

I was curious to know if you could finally isolate the faulty part and make your TV set work; if so, which part was faulty.

    Sincerely,
    Digant

Yes. I ended up replacing the T-Con board and it works beautifully now. They're tough to find though, probably because this is a common issue. Keep an eye on eBay. They pop up every now and then.

Hello Digant and Ulimited bacon and anyone that could help out.

I have the Vizio XVT3D474SV as well. Just picked it up as a project tv and not going to far getting it working. I probably spent too much trying to fix it already. Boards are very hard to come by and there is probably a good chance they don't work (maybe my replacements) or will fail.

So far I replaced the TCon and main and all I get is backlight. I first thought the tcon but no improvement so I went with the main and still nothing. No audio click ad well like one might hear when the tv comes on and from the white vizio light to the backlight showing it is about eight seconds. I have the lay of the land so far with voltage checks and I can feel heat on the main board heat sink but no heat from the tcon heat sink. I have voltage across the tcon fuse but I read about mosfet voltage checks but can anyone show me a picture of the location. Any other information on troubleshooting parts and what people have found would be helpful. I an too cheap to buy a new one. Thanks
