LG 60PV400 display problems - Help Please

LG 60PV400-UB powers up, but picture and menu screens are dim and fuzzy and have black horizontal lines running through.
When changing between menus etc, the menu items take a second to fully appear and fade in (like wet ink).

    See attached pics.

Last week, this TV had power and sound but NO picture.
Here is a brief history of the issue and what has brought me to this point:

TV was showing signs of color distortion in large, bright areas of picture.
One day, the TV would power up with sound, but NO picture at all.
Z-SUS board had blown fuse and very bad cold solder joints on coils.

    Ordered a spare Z-SUS board & installed.

Now I do have picture, but with the issues listed above.
LED on Control Board during power up will flash: Short, Short, Long, Short.
Then, once powered up, will flash: Long, Long , Short, Short, Pause, Repeat.

Further diagnostic suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your time and assistance!
    Mike.

You might have purchased a dud board. Check IGBTs & Mosfets on the YSUS also.

z buffers or line drivers! The two boards on the side next to the Z-SUS board
when they short they take out the sus board so you need to replace all 3 at same time

Extreme High Current & Low Voltage Short Killer ??
        by DynaxSC
        Hi Folks

I'm looking for a extreme high current short killer solution for a reasonable cost.

I have an LGA1700 motherboard (ASUS PRIME Z790-P WiFi) where I exchanged the LGA socket already 3 times, and every time after the socket exchange I get a short of power supply lines VCORE (V variable) and VCCIN_AUX (1.8V).
After taking off the socket, the shorts dissappear again.
The soldermask on the socket is already partially demaged from the heat, so I have reconstructed the soldermask by manually painting the missing soldermask parts with a very small top of a...

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
        by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

        Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

        First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds
        by JJAAMM
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

        Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

ASRock N100M, no picture no boot, but semi-alive
        by Exim
        Hi guys,
I managed to semi-kill an ASRock N100M board after updating Bios from 1.10 to 2.01. It's a zombie now, dead, but not dead.

        ASRock N100M special features:
        - CPU soldered to board, small Intel 12th gen
        - iGPU
        - four POST LEDs

Problem after updating Bios to 2.01 using the in-Bios update tool: no picture, no boot.
I am not sure anymore if it booted at least once successfully after updating the bios to 2.01, maybe not, I can't remember. I think it did not.

        Symptoms:
        - no picture/signal on any of the display connectors,...

MacBook Pro 14" A2442 Short on PPBUS_AON but no short present when injecting voltage!
        by Stephen
I check PPBUS_AON and there is a short present on the line, the computer shows a short when testing for short to ground, so when I inject voltage into the line, I get 0AMPS so no short is showing up. I have replaced a blown cap on this board that exploded and tested for the short and it is now removed. Any suggestions? I tested voltage at the line when the fuses are connected and I am getting 1.2 Volts at the line.
