    Westinghouse SK-32H590D - Color saturates after ~ 15 minutes

    TV works for ~ 15 minutes then the color goes bonkers...washes out...has ghosts....I don't know how to explain it any better. Your thoughts are solicited. FLPIII

        Take a screen shot so we can see what the pictures look like, it sound like Gamma problem on the T-CON board.
        If this is your T-CON board, then you more likely have the bad AS15 GAMMA Vref IC.

          budm - thanks for the information...I do believe it's a Gamma problem on the T-CON board. Now I just have to locate it on the TV...any thoughts on its location? FLPIII

            It's on the T-con board, start by taking a photo of that board.
            The T-con is usually at the top or bottom of the TV, and connects to the main AV board (which has the video inputs on it like HDMI and tuner.)

                selldoor - the COBY has migrated to trash bin...turned out to be much more of a problem then just the main board or a connector...thanks for your help. FLPIII
