tcl u65x9006 back light on but no picture sounf ok after 40 50 secs

hi guys, i need your help again...i have tcl u65x9006. while i was watching it become darker like when a movie ends, little by little the image disappear. now if i turn on i have back light on, after like 1 min i have also sound but no picuture. the back light is on i take off one at time the ldvs but nothing change always no picture. i tried to cover with a piece of paper the pin of ldvs i cover like 7 8 pins but nothing worked. the tv stay with no picture. there is a tcon board.i checked the voltage there on the fuse i have 11,8 volts. there is caps in shorts on the exit of the tcon i have 3,3 volts 1,8 volts and then 0.5 volts for the other pins, i dont know if it s low or it s correct. also if i take off one ribbon capble at time the voltage did not change. do you think the panel is gone....o maybe it s the tcon board or the main board someone can help me and say me what voltage i have to check up. i trashed a 75 inches samsung some months ago always with the same problem...this tcl is new like 3 4 years old 4k....someone can help me? i put a photo of the tcon someone can help me. maybe i wronged to cover the pin with the paper i need to cover more pins?

That's a good clear picture, what's the numbers/writing beside the "caps in short" and how did you test them?

the tcon board is 5Y-65-FU11BPCMTA4V0.2 . i tested the caps with the negative on the shield of tv and the positive touching one side of caps, and i have to hear only one beep, and i tested the boad out of the tv and i touched the caps with the multimeter and i didnt have beeps, so i think they are good. i have 12 volts on the fuse, 11,8 . and on the two rainbow cable exit i have 3,3 volts, 1,8 volt and for the other 0,5 volts more or less, the voltage didnt change also if i unplug one lsvd at time. but i dont know if th eovltage i have it s correct because i know somme tcon have like 28 30 volts. what can i say it s the big chip on the tcon become warm really soon...and its like 40 50 celsius

Try unplugging one U ribbon at a time (if it has them) on the buffer boards instead of the t-con ribbon. See if you get 3/4 picture at all

from the main board to the tcon i have only one ribbon cable. i did take off one at time and cover pins also there on the panel board. for panel boardi mean the board that solder on the flats of the diplay. there are two C or U flat dark orange, i take of them one at time and also try to cover the pins but always the same no picture. on that board on the left side i have 3,3 volts in the right side where the ldvs are in i have 3,3 volts but on the capacitors under that i have 1,8 volts...

diah u are one of the best…if I did the jumper, and with the left side disconnect I have half display image. So I do the right side tape method? Or I do in a other way. Now I have Half image

you can check the track line of the points with ribbon socket after you disconnect the panel.. i think pin 1 or 2 but be sure first other wise you will toast every things.

Why did you solder such a rope? You need a short, thin, single-core wire (there is no high voltage and no high current consumption).

Because I’m stupid, so now I disconnect the panale and I check on the socket. After I did..if I did, I put some tape on the right part that doesn’t work? Or there are other method? And with this jumper now we know the display is the problem right?

Diah I track the fbb31 and goes on the first pin. In the picture is red. Now on the fbb32 I can't track because there isn't more the pad….i know it s a disaster…but I can't go back in time. So for u the pin of fb332 is the first one in yellow, or it s in the other side, because on the socket of the ribbon flat, there is an arrow, so if the two socket re the same, the correct point is the last one not the one near or I wrong?

You have determined which half of the panel is not working, now the jumper is no longer needed, tape the CKV signals on the bad side on the cable and check how the image appears.

perfect because before all the mess happened I saw a really good image on the right side of the to when the left was unplugged and the jumper was In..

so I work on the left ribbon flat and try to put some tape on the pin until the image is back, also if I tried before maybe I have to mask more pins…I ll try. I thought the jumper must be there always for the tv works

What conclusions are you masking? Take a high-quality photo of the t-con and which side is not working?
The problem may not be in the panel itself, but in the buffer strip; also take a photo of this non-working strip.

if the right side was Blank clear White then T-CON issue. blank black also could be T-CON ..
this test was for just to check if there are distributed at image.. then Panel fault

before ask here, I tried to mask the connector of the ribbon flat, both side one at time, I show you the piece of paper I used. But i didn’t have change always black with no image with back light on. Then I tried to mask the c or u flat, dark orange in the buffer strip…I think u call them that, the board where the panel is soldering. But also there no effect. Tell me what you want see I give you the photo, and thanks a lot for the helping to all

                                          Hi All,

                                          Need help.

I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....

                                          I have a VIZIO E70-E3.
Symptoms: Black screen, no picture, but LED backlights are working.
I probed the power board and voltages are as listed on the board.
                                          Main board appears fine, too.
I believe the problem is either a bad T-CON board, or connection to LCD, or bad LCD.
There are two separate ribbon cables feeding the LCD.
If both are connected, the screen is black.

If only the ribbon cable that feeds the right side of the screen (when viewed from the front) is disconnected, the left side of the screen shows picture and...

Hi, I'm new here and looking for some advice on how to diagnose an issue i have with 2 samsung TVs.

I have a UE32J5500AK and a UE48H6400AK both with the same issue of red light but nothing happening on the screen, the red light responds to remote or button press by flashing once but stays red. I have searched forums but most turn up a blinking red light.

I have tried replaceing the power board on the UE32J5500AK last year but this resulted in the same outcome.
The UE48H6400AK recently developed some small bright areas on the screen, then last week would not power...

Samsung LCD TV no picture backlight on no 12v at tcon

                                          hi
i have a samsung lcd tv

it powers on with sound and backlight but no picture

all voltages from PS are good 12v 3.3v and 5v

whats odd is that at the tcon i tested voltage across the fuse on the tcon and i get 0v

i figured main board issue..so i ordered a used main board....when i put replacement main board in i still have same issue

no 12v at the tcon fuse

i disconnect the panel ribbon cables to rule out any panel issues and i still have no 12v at the tcon fuse

                                          the odds of having 2...

TCL 50S535 bad tcon or panel issue?

Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...
