    17PW26-4 voltages for future reference

I had this Hitachi Vestel junk on my bench for too long, found my frankenpsu (17PW26-4 modified to work as 17PW25-4) and installed that... amazingly it worked! The Toshiba 32BV701B would work now and then, but it would intermittently fail to start from standby... this works every time and I can't find any switch-on transient on the 5V or 3.3V, like I had a problem with before... I'm guessing this main board is malleable to this modification but not all are.

    Anyway for future reference:

    ref - standby - run
    C814 - 0.01V - 15.2V
    C801 - 18.3V - 17.5V
    C892 - 11.1V - 10.5V
    C840 - 0.01V - 0.4V (filter capacitor for part of control loop)

    Output on 24V: 24.4V

was it a easy mod to do? many parts required.

Re: 17PW26-4 voltages for future reference

Fairly complicated, few parts but quite involved; I did it months ago and didn't keep a reference. Main thing is the 17PW25-4 has a 5V,3A output continuously available, whereas the 17PW26-4 has a 5V standby @ 100mA and 5V run @ 3A. It also has 3.3V but this is not needed. So the fix is to connect the 5V run and standby supplies together, and to give the 3.3V a little load, to help the 5V stay stable when starting.

Powersupply has all the voltages - Monitor still no power
          by Capacitorial
          Hello guys,

I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.
          On The TCON...

          MAX9590ETU+ MAX9590 Datasheet
          by Document Archive
The MAX9590 provides 14 programmable voltage references and four static voltage references for gamma correction in TFT-LCD displays. Two register banks are provided to store two sets of gamma reference values. Gamma values are programmed into the banks through the I2C interface and the outputs can switch between values in 0.5µs.

The 14 programmable reference voltages are divided evenly into seven upper and seven lower voltages for the upper and lower gamma curves of LCD column drivers.

Each gamma reference voltage has an 8-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and isolation...

Hi guys have a HP 14 Labtop. DA0PAHMB8F0 .There is no White LED on the DC Jack .It got a drop of water damage right next to the 3V IC ( Silergy SY8386BRHC) and corroded a resistor and a pad which belongs to the Enable for the IC. I cleaned the area and re-soldered the resistor. Nothing Changed. I don't know what the value for the resistor should be.It measures about 80.0K No schematics available for this model. A good friend on here mon2 helped me identify the IC markings and gave good advice on making sure to measure the input voltages and enables and checking for short.
          There is no short...

          Help reading schematic voltages input/output
          by gjgib
Hello, this might be embarassing since I consider it a dumb question but keeps me kinda stuck sometimes in my journey.

I want to know if there is any post in this forum which explains my questions. A) When, where and how do I know when X voltage line is input or output. Example:

          I'm battling with this IC to understand it's voltages. It's from non-turning-on Lenovo Ideapad 3 15iil05 - NM-D461.

          I see some lines like +5VL / +5VALW / V9B+ / +3VALW being okay and some others like 1.8VALW / +0.6VS / +2.5V_DDR. I just know that some of them are bad or missing,...

Reference Nvidia GTX 980 ti - looking for a new shroud
          by speaktorob
So a while back, to deal with the fan noise of the old blower style shrouds on the reference cards, I chucked it and installed the monster that is a Raijintek MORPHEUS 8069, with a couple Noctuas on it. Did the job but quite unwieldy tbh.

Anyone know which boards would have a compatible shroud for it? I know the EVGA used the reference board but wondering if any other manufacturers did. I want to put something sensible back on it, but I'm having a hard time getting hold of even a faulty reference board for a reasonable price.
