    MAX9590ETU+ MAX9590 Datasheet

The MAX9590 provides 14 programmable voltage references and four static voltage references for gamma correction in TFT-LCD displays. Two register banks are provided to store two sets of gamma reference values. Gamma values are programmed into the banks through the I2C interface and the outputs can switch between values in 0.5µs.

The 14 programmable reference voltages are divided evenly into seven upper and seven lower voltages for the upper and lower gamma curves of LCD column drivers.

Each gamma reference voltage has an 8-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and isolation buffer associated with it to ensure stable operation. Therefore, the reference voltages remain stable without synchronizing to the LCD horizontal timing. In addition, each buffer is able to provide a high current that further ensures a stable voltage when critical levels and patterns are displayed.

The 14 programmable buffers wake up in the high-impedance state until the registers are programmed. This protects the LCD system from high transient currents during the startup phase.

The MAX9590 is available in a 38-pin TQFN package and is specified for operation over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.

Recapping Sony ICF-SW55 - verifying cap values
    by proxneo
    Dear reader

I am performing a repair on a Sony ICF-SW55, which includes recapping (some) of the SMD capacitors on the mainboard. I am looking for verification of their values. At the moment, I'm 95% sure I've got the right values, but it is hard to find some official, credible or multiple independant sources on this.

At the moment, I have selected replacements based on the following list of values:

    3 x 470uF 10VDC
    3 x 4.7uF 35VDC
    4 x 47uF 50VDC
    8 x 22uF 6.3 VDC
    1 x 220uF 6.3VDC
    5 x 100uF 6.3VDC

    Which...

Nvidia GTS 250M Laptop graphics - Inductor and Capacitor values
    by rashidjafar
I am looking for capacitor & Inductor values for my TOSHIBA Qosmio X500-110 - mobile graphics - Nvidia GTS 250M Laptop.

    Values for :-
    =========
    PC43 : Capacitor [3x1.5mm]
    PL7 : Inductor [2x1mm]
    PC39 : Capacitor [1x0.5mm]

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

I can get Capacitor values from nearby components but wanted to know the max ratings also I dont have equipment to measure inductors....

Different (lower) resistor values on PCB?
    by Kobok
    Dear Alls,
For sure it id a stupid question, but help me to understand. I am in a Dell 2007WFP revitalizing project - searching reason why not starting. Some resistors needed to replaced is is obvious. When I have soldered some resistors the measured (with multimeter) values were sometimes rather different written on them. I supposed these are wrong units so I desoldered and made a checking measurement and voilá the values is the same is written on. This happens only in case of a few resistors, most have the same values (+/- 10%) are written on it. "strange" SMD resistors =>103...

Reference Nvidia GTX 980 ti - looking for a new shroud
    by speaktorob
So a while back, to deal with the fan noise of the old blower style shrouds on the reference cards, I chucked it and installed the monster that is a Raijintek MORPHEUS 8069, with a couple Noctuas on it. Did the job but quite unwieldy tbh.

Anyone know which boards would have a compatible shroud for it? I know the EVGA used the reference board but wondering if any other manufacturers did. I want to put something sensible back on it, but I'm having a hard time getting hold of even a faulty reference board for a reasonable price.
