    Vizio VA370M Main Board Issue

    Hello, any help with this would greatly be appreciated. I've read through the post on testing voltage regulators but am still having some trouble decoding these in this Vizio VA370M. I've checked all I could find on the main board and have attached notes for review. Also, I can't decode the numbers on them to determine what type I'd have to replace them with if in fact they are bad. I'm assuming they must be fixed because none of the values are 2.5v difference. I'm convinced the issue with this tv is the main board because the visio logo (not the one on the screen) does turn to amber when the power is turned on but no picture. Also, it does turn off. I show no voltage at the t-con or any other board when the power is on. I've read in these forums that voltage regulators are a common problem in vizios so I started with that. The main boards # is CBPF9D1KZ5.

      Hi everyone,

      Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

      Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

      I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

      I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

      Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

      I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

      The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

      With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

      I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.

      Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?

      I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
      Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

      Schematics for the main board needed please. Sticker on board states BN94-07517A but the silkscreen says BN41-02157B. Cant find here or anywhere on the web.

      Backlights work when main boards disconnected. When connected and power button switched, the relay on the PSU board turns on for one second then back off.
      While relay is on, all voltage rails are present and steady (scoped) on main board.
      I love a good logic puzzle but getting lost without any schematics.
      No shorts on ANY capacitor main board.
      Thermal camera shows 3.3V inductor getting warm instantly but...
