Philips Plasma, 42PF5521 Digital Tuning/setup, How?

Got this set, have spent the last hour or so trying to gain access to the Digital Tuning menu.

--This is the Fujitsu/Hitachi 42" based Philips, --The model that has the usual 'dead' fault in the PSU, the 100uF 16V SM cap--C2508.....

I'm damned if I can gain access to the digital tuning set-up. This set does have DVB, as its tuned to a weak station transmitter rather than the local one so I know it does work on DVB....

BTW--I dont have the proper remote for it, but my universal seems to do most stuff on it....

You need a Philips remote which has the "D MENU" button as the digital menu and TV menu are separately accessed.

Ah--Cheers Tom, I did suspect that might be the trouble.

Its like that 32" LCD set I have thats 'Locked' It needs a Proper Philips remote.....
