Powers on backlights work removed the tcon/mainboard here is a picture do you think this ic is blown..im not sure how to test it..its the one with the dark spot upper right hand corner...thanks

I have one like this, The fault is on the main board around ic603,Possibly C653? I have not isolate the problem yet as the set started working again.
When it acted up there was a good picture about one inch from the top and the rest was lines etc.
If I find the exact component causing this issue I will post.
