Sounds like A board - LVDS cable and fan connections connected? If you disconnect all power and LVDS connections from A board then power set up, the screen should turn on full white. Does it? (Don't run more than 30 secs as fans don't spin in this state.)

If the two power power cables/connectors are just along from the LVDS connection then removed those but nothing powered up. Still got the black screen

I think there are three - one goes to the D board. This also needs to be removed for this test.

7 blinks with A board makes no sense, there is no way I can think of the A board causing that fault code. Are you sure it's 7, and not 10,11,12,13...?

For white screen, it's A5, A6, A7 disconnected and turn on. If similar to the PZ80/800 the front LED will not be connected / not lit.

As for the fans, A30 needs to be connected to PB30. Since this has no 11 blink shutdown I'm wondering if it's PB board issue. If A30/PB30 are disconnected I'd expect no fans and no blinks as the SOS is a high on error at the PB board.

Have you gone back to original LVDS cable, original D board and original A board all at once to see what this does?

Training guide for PZ80/800 suggests D board can be 7 blink

Not gone back to the orginal boards etc yet, However it's odd that when the new A board is fitted I get the 7 blinks, counted them a few times to make sure what the flashes were,

However when I fit the old board back in I get the rapid green light at the front then goes solid but won't power up? Can hear the relays click twice though.

Well, I don't know these too well but with so many items swapped in and out there's always a chance of introducing faults. getting it to lock on with no blinks is progress.

I'd be inclined to put original LVDS,D and A board, check all cabling. check PB board is connected see what you get. If no good, I'd retry removing a5,6,7 and see if you can get the white panel.

Sounds like original fault was SC board. If it has ribbons out of the D or A board check for corrosion and damage.

maybe a picture of everything as you have it, comparison photos of original to replacement parts just in case there's some variation that's not compatible.

If it blinks green then locks on it's powered up you just don't have a display and if the onbaord LEDs are lit on the Sc/SS then they're on and running.

Right had a play about this evening, If I leave off A5/6/7 the LEds on the SC/SS boards light up. When I plug just 6&7 in the relay kicks in if I plug in A5 on it's own nothing happens.

Now when all 3 are plugged in the LED's on the SC/SS board fail to light up. swapped the SC board/and A board over and still get the same fault the A board that I ordered seems to be U/S as this gives off the flashing lights as mentioned. is it looking like a power board fault? The power board looks as if it's had a 10 blink fault repaired as theres some grey silcone? stuff around the chip.

Panasonic P42S30 Plasma - Pink sparkles
                      by Lintesir
My parents' Panasonic P42S30 died recently, and they asked me to have a look at it. I was able to identify the SN-board as the culprit, as it was shorted. After removing Q401, Q402, Q421 and Q422 the short was gone, so I replaced these components and that got the TV working again. However, when testing the tv a bit, I noticed quite bad pinkish sparkles on some colors. For instance the greyish bar on this forum seems to trigger it quite badly. I made a fullscreen test picture with only that color, with the below result.

There is about a 5cm high region at the top without any sparkles,...

Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ85U No screen No blinks on red power light
                      by Alicat
                      Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

                      Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...

Panasonic Plasma screen interference on left half of screen
                      by Zelek11
My Panasonic Plasma model P55VT50 has started displaying "interference" on just the left half of the screen only (left when facing the screen). Sometimes it's concentrated in about the first 30 seconds after startup, then disappears. Other times it's fine at startup and then randomly does it later on. When it flashes the interference it's very quick and doesn't stay on the screen unless it flashes repeatedly in a row.

This image is a screen shot from a video I took. This is an example of the interference at its worst. Often the interference is much smaller...

panasonic TH-42PC77U plasma television half screen problem
                      by renech
                      hello,
I hope someone on this forum can assist me.
                      I have a panasonic TH-42PC77U plasma television.
the lower 1/2 of the screen has become flaky....in and out, then finally goes black and you can only see the top portion.
i have performed the reset to default settings quite a few times. Panasonic recommended..did not believe this would help...it didn't.
I have removed the back panel and looked around for something obvious...burn marks in a board, etc....nothing obvious...
I have read some posts that suggest the problem is related to the boards on the left...

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
                      by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...
