hi l I have a faulty y main Y board # Lj41-05905a,

on this tv its the only fault

this is where im pulling my hair out I have been through 4 mosfets on this board each time I repair it I power on click pop click click click mosfet shorted its the the very top 1 near the main power conector for the board all fuses test fine as do al the 6r2 resisors that are said to fail

why is this mosfet keep blowing

Post photos of the board and which mosfets you are talking about. I just repaired one of these boards the other day, and it had a small shorted smd transistor and one open 6R2 resistor that I found. It would continue to short two of the pins of the mosfet if not replaced.

Did you replace the IGBT driver at the same time as replacing the transistors? The driver can be damaged by shorts, which can then kill the new IGBTs... leading to a never-ending drama of dying transistors.
