Panasonic TC-P50x3 Weird clicking sound-Standby very dim-Not powering up

I have this Panasonic that is basically stuck in standby mode. Won't power up. I do notice a different type of clicking sound, it's more of a ticking/rattling sound from the clicking relay like it's trying to do the on/off click but there isn't enough power.

Once you plug it in, it does the loud type rattle/ticking sound a few times then pauses for about 15 or so seconds and does it again several times, pause, etc It's never really two clicks like it's on/off cycling.

I noticed the standby is very DIM and if you look closely at it, it seems to flicker non stop but not flash.

I've disconnected the mainboard to see if any backlight would come up but nothing. As long as the mainboard is connected, it makes this clicking sound. If I disconnect it, no clicking sound.

I tested everything that I can think of and believe it to be the power supply causing the fault but wanted to double check before ordering another board. I don't want to make the mistake of mis diagnosing SMPS when it's a mainboard issue.

I've checked out the power supply with what I know and everything seems OK, no damaged caps, etc Only thing I've noticed are two diodes that are 0000 out while all the other diodes are showing .5-.6

Supposedly lightning took this TV out and a few others. I was for sure clicking relating sounds w the clicking relay trying to power on is usually cap related, is this correct?

I don't feel like replacing components on this one, would rather just swap the board but want to make sure it's a SMSP issue before doing so since it's only 30 bucks but mainboard, I cannot find. =/ Thanks in advance

Panasonic TX-P50STW50 Power Supply no 5V (was clicking)
      by Ierwin
      Hello everyone,

Ive been a member of this forum since 2017 and always found so much useful informaiton that I never even had to ask questions myself. Now I have a TX-P50STW50 Panasonic Plasma TV on my desk that I just can not make sense of.
As a little disclaimer: English is not my first language so please bear with me in case I do not always use the correct technical terms.

So the previous owner of this set told me that the TV started clicking and restarting every now and then. These events got more frequent until it became completely dead. No reaction whatsoever....

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
      by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

Panasonic SA-BT203 Power Switch Clicking Won't Turn On Issue
      by platinumsteel
Hi guys I have a Panasonic blue-ray disc player Surround Sound that is giving me a lot of headache trying to repair. When i press the Power button it gives a Click Click sound but doesn't turn on.I checked Power Supply Board for swollen or bad ESR caps with my ESR Meter and all i found was some swollen caps on the Audio Board i changed with new caps but still the same. Checked the whole board for shorts and there isn't any.I used to have like 3.3v on the Power Switch Button but now i have 20v ... Is that normal? isn't it supposed to be 3.3v on the Power Switch? I am hoping you guys might be able...

PSU Clicking On then powering off & looping.
      by TheDevastatedOne
I have two higher end PSU's here.

One of them is an EVGA 1300 Supernova G2 when I jump the "power on" it begins to power up, fans spin, voltages go down the lines as I connected a case fan to the 12volt rail and it spins up as well. But then what sounds like a small faint relay clicks and it powers off, then powers back on again and repeats this power on/off loop.

I also have a new Raidmax 1000W Scorpio which does similar (right out of the retail box I might add) it will begin to power on then click & shut off. (This one does not attempt to restart until...

Samsung UE49KS7000SXXH - fast clicking sound in standby mode
      by B0r1s
      PSU - BN44-00878A

      Symptoms:

The TV turned itself off, and I haven't been able to turn it back on. The standby voltage was unstable and lower than it should be.
A weak clicking sound was coming from the transformer.

      Video with clicking sound:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAduhjNtqCA

      Progress:

After the transformer, I measured four Schottky diodes. DM862C and DM864C diodes readings were 003 in both directions. After detaching them from the circuit and measuring them, DM864C was the shorted one. These Schottky diodes are SB550.I...
