Greetings to all,
Our TV stays in standby mode, red LED blinks, no picture and no sound. We inspected the Power Supply Board, and found all capacitors in good shape. We went ahead to replace with the 8 capacitors repair kit from eBay. We also purchased & installed an used board from RetechTV. The problem remains.
Someone mentioned that the Eeprom needs bridging pin 5 & 6 to reset. The board has multiple IC's as shown in attached pictures, on both front and back.
My questions are:
. Does the symptom require Eeprom reset? If so, please help to identify which one.
. Is there anything other I should be checking ?
We are retired. No money but having plenty of time
Any help would be much appreciated.
