    lg 50ps3000 no picture

    any help here got another one of these in
    upon being powered up I hear a small buzz fzzz noise then nothing no led activity on control board and after a short time tv returns to standby


    so I removed the z boards main power connector and now tv turns on still no picture y main heats up and the control board has led activity

    now the z board I have is not the one that has a repair kit

    part number eax60936902

    I have tested all the mosfets and found only 1 that is short

    would this stop the the tv running and cause no picture

    bad mosfet is q53 on the board

    or could I have more problems

      when zsus is not connected I still don't have a picture

              Sounds to me like the Z-SUS is faulty then!

              And--Yes, a nackered MOSFET would stop it working,--as well as disconnecting the Z-SUS

                  i have this tv had same problerms i changed zsus and all fine and wow what a great tv

                      I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

                      Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

                      I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

                      The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

                      With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                      TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board

                      All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
                      • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
                      • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

                      I am looking at the option of replacing my control/driver board to one with HDMI and/or Display port input on a 2K LED (I think IPS) screen.

                      The display is Samsung LTM270DL07.

                      I have tried using the model number to search for a compatible control/driver board but so far my efforts have been futile.

                      I am looking for inputs on what board could potentially be used for my display.
