    Lg55uh650v horizontal lines

Hello. Sorry to bother you all but I hope you can help me. I have an lg tv with black flickering horizontal lines running across it. I've done a soft reset, hard reset and update on the webos but it's still the same. Can anybody give me any tips or suggestions?
    Thank you

Probably the panel. Less likely the TCON board.

Check for damage on the screen somewhere. Have you been using spray on the screen to clean it?

No Easy. I literally just got it. The guy told me it had a line at the top but I got it home and that's what it looks like. Checked for damage but seems fine.

Yea one line turns into many. Likely the panel. Transportation probably made it worse

Disconnect one of the two lower cables going to the panel from the T-con side and turn on the TV, look at the image, then connect the first and disconnect the second and find out which half of the panel has the defect.

Might not be the problem, but have had a similar line pattern that was due to a bad/loose tab bond, "fixed" with a shim. Suppose good strong non-conductive tape would work too. Maybe try cleaning the tcon flat cable ends with isopropyl alcohol, some use a pencil eraser, not too roughly they can be delicate.

All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
                • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
                • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

                Hi guys

I just started fixing 4k TV few months ago. so I am still learning a lot
I got this tv from friend complaint is ghosting or horizontal lines on image.

never saw the original symptom but I took the tv back home. the funny part is that after bringing to home, the tv worked fine no issue for 3 weeks.
then it started to show the ghosting white image.
I started using the tape method, but this tv does not have a T con board and it has only 1 ribbon cable from main board to the tv panel.
it has 3 thin small boards at the bottom of the...

Sony XBR-65X750D Horizontal lines bottom of screen
                by ggil44
Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

                Hi Everyone,

I've been working on repairing this beautiful CRT monitor off and on for the past several months and I'm really at a loss for what might be causing the problem.

Unlike other common Horizontal Deflection issues which result in a steady vertical line, when I turn the monitor on, there is a pulsing (somewhat segmented) vertical line. I've attached a photo that shows the issue (difficult to capture without video)....
