A friend bought it for me to fix, in total, cost him £46 + a small charge for the repair. On my recommendation for a good quality TV, plasma preferred.
Normally, I'd sell these around £200 to £225 mark.

Thanks. I sold the same model recently for £210. Still trying to figure out if I'm getting my pricing right. Buyers often seem suspicious of the age of TVs like this, even though they are much better, more reliable and more repairable than most of the newer stuff.

It's a 7 year old TV model now, so it's understandable. I just wish I could show them inside of it vs. a one year old plasma/LED and they will see they are getting a much better built TV.

I know exactly what you mean. I sold an immaculate (I mean it was totally spotless like new) PZ80 for £180 during the post-Christmas slump, and that was a bit of a struggle to sell. They were amazed with it when they saw it though. I've got a PZ85 and a TX-P42S11B I'm looking at selling now and thinking how to price them. It kind of grates to sell such great TVs for as low as that.

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
            by Hakuu
            Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

            Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
            by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
            CN6401
            Pin 01 NC
            Pin 02 NC
            Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
            Pin 04 "N/C"
            Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
            Pin 06 "GND": N/C
            Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...

Panasonic TC-P54VT25 No image. A or D board?
            by canadaboy25
I have a Panasonic TC-P54VT25 that will power on and prime the display but there is no image at all.

The panel is primed as there is a slight glow from the entire panel. This means the problem should be logic related. The service manual also confirms this and recommends replacing the A or the D board.

I have tried to get the TV to display the test sequence but I have been unable to and I don't even know if this TV has a test sequence or not. I tried following tom66's instructions in post #3 on this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26790. There was...

Physically bending the T-Con board creates horizontal dotted lines on OLED55CXPUA
            by fredtred
            Hello!
I have been trying to solve this issue the past 12 months to no avail. I have been a lurker here during that time but finally decided to post my problem and see if anybody knows a solution.

            Problem
My tv (OLED55CXPUA) has an issue where it displays horizonal lines of dotted artifacts.

            (See Attachment 1)

            Self Diagnosing
After a very long troubleshooting period I traced the issue to the T-Con board. If I gently flexed/bend the board I could make the display go from GOOD to BAD and vice versa. I have ruled out the connectors/wires...
