    Discoloration after color wheel changing on Samsung HL-P5085W

    Hi.Color Discoloration after color wheel changing on Samsung HL-P5085W.May be i need to do some adjustments?Please see pics attached.

    It has to be related to the act of changing the wheel so check every connector, make sure they are all seated properly, it is possible that you gently knocked one while reaching inside to change the wheel, good luck.

      Why did you change the wheel in the first place?
      --ie, what fault did the set have?

      Looks like a gamma-correction type fault, dunno, haven't done much with DLP types....

        I think on these sets if you change the color wheel you have to adjust the timing on the service menu. Norcal715 on YouTube has a video on it.

            If the color wheel adjustment was off you would not have the flesh tones you have, the face color would be off ie: greenish I've changed a lot of color wheels and the index delay was never off that much. It looks like either connections to the dmd board or the dmd board itself has a problem.
