What is this component

Shown in picture, trying to replace a MOSFET and looks like I knocked this off, in guessing it's the same as one next to it. Has 1.8 Mohms. Any way to bypass it? It's on the hot side

The component circled is the one there, the arrow is I think another of same component?

Protection diodes, them can be not populated, usualy are not present in power supplies, them are maybe of help to prevent damage to the board with a slight extra tension with no more energy than what the diodes can hold.. it's a 2cent gift from Samsung.. ahaha.. serious protections are another thing i guess..

Okay, yea I can't find them on any other bad board I have. So would I be able to just jump this with some solder and it should probably work normal? Or should I put the same resistance there with a resistor instead? Kind of a cheap tv I'm messing around with.

F1K are fast recovery diode at range 500-1000V... no way to leave them open or shorted... other wise the whole hot area will exploded one by one.

Alright. Researching fast recovery diode and what that means. Just to make sure here. Wonder how I popped that off. Not even sure it belongs there, I'll check other boards.

Where did you get the idea that these are protective diodes, look at the diagram....

No, indeed i haven't noticed the cathode to the negative, so it's not protective but a strange solution. no idea what them means..
