philips 55pft5500/12 Backlight issue. What am I doing wrong?

TV philips 55'' no backlight (image ok).
I tested the backlight with my led tester from the unplugged connector cable and it lights up. I had voltages at the motherboard connector, but anyway I order a new psu. Same problem, same voltages. Disassembled the TV and checked every strip with my led tester, they all light up, same voltage for every pair of strip (they go two by two).
    What am I missing?

And something else I don't understand. I checked and I have 3v Leds, 10 per strips. Why every pair of strip (so 20 Led) take about 32v when powered up with my led tester 🤔

Sometimes main board is culprit. I am not familiar with this TV at all, but I hav seen some tvs backlights not working because of main board. Main board sends signal to turn on BL and it doesn't. What is the legend for the PSU to MB show. One of those pins may be missing voltsge

Sorry. Model: philips 55pft5500/12. I can't edit my title.

EazyBone I didn't think to check the return signals, assuming everything was alright since the TV worked fine (backlight apart). I'll check the signals, hoping that is a problem, at least I can try to work it out.
One thing I know for sure. When the TV is in standby I don't have voltage at the BL connector. If I turn on the TV I have it instead.
When the TV is on I have 76v on the positive lines and 48v at the negative ones, comparing with ground. While checking with my led tester, it takes 125v on the positive lines, if I am not mistaken.

Diah oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I don't know why, but if I measure the connector LED + and LED - with my multimeter I don't have a reading (voltage DC mode) but if compare them to ground I have 76v and 48v respectively. If I use my LED tester on the connector (connector disconnected, testing from the Led side of course), LED + and LED -, i have around 30v (if I am not mistaken) and the backlight is fully present.
EazyBone ok, I upload the pic now.
If needed, I upload also the schematic of the psu

this mean there are no signal on pins BL_OFF/ON.... or as Lotas mentioned... you have damage on the track of the left side which its belong to LED BL circuit

                      Hello again.
Sorry I didn't update you guys before but the TV was in test at the client's house and I wanted to be sure it was working.
So at the end the tv had a double fault. A problem was in the power supply board, which I couldn't understand which component was faulty. The TV at that point turned on but after just a week of working intermittently, I found out a motherboard problem as well. I had one and I changed it to save time, even though I was curious to know the problem.
                      Now it's working great.
                      Thanks

820-02020 Super Weird Issue: Keyboard Input Character Map "Wrong"?
                        by ugamazing
So, I have a really bizarre issue that I'm struggling to identify the cause of. Working on an 820-02020 board with some bizarre keyboard/input-source character mapping. My suspicion is a possible damaged SPI ROM (U1970), perhaps, but I'm really not sure in this case:

                        1. The issue is pretty weird, but when installing MacOS, I noticed my WiFi password did not work. I quickly realized the special characters (!@#$%^& etc) were not mapping correctly.

                        2. I noticed the keyboard layout/input-source is defaulting to JAPANESE every single time I restore the board. I am not...

                        Hi There!
I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth...

Philips 55PUS6804/12 turn on & off (probably backlight issue)
                        by ovrax
                        Hello everyone,

First of all, please excuse me as I'm quite new to this field.

I have a Philips 55PUS6804/12 TV. It turns on and off instantly (backlight flash). I personally think it's a backlight issue (faulty LEDs). Could you help me confirm my diagnosis?

I've checked and the T-CON seems to be fine. I disconnected one ribbon cable at a time at the bottom, but the problem persists.
The Ambilight works perfectly and stays on.

                        No sounds.

                        Thanks in advance.

No picture issue in Philips Chassis FTL2.1
                        by charlesdutcher
                        Hello,
My Plasma Philips 37inch chassis FTL2.1 does not show picture. It automatically goes into protection mode after 30 seconds (red led blinks at 3Hz)

Is there someone having any symptom like this? How to fix it?

                        Thanks in advance!

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                        by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                        Assuming...
