Wait so are you saying I should just replace the entire led strip? And no I didn't need to use hot air nor do I have hot air station, I just flooded the chip on both sides with solder and flux and got them both hot and moved it off when solder was molten.

Ok just as a long past due update. I replaced motherboard, PSU as it was making a humming noise and the entire led strip. Basically completely rebuilt this tv. Definitely not worth it but it was fun anyways.
