Xiaomi L55M5-5ASP fine lines on the panel uniform

Good afternoon! Does anyone know how to remove these lines? They are very fine lines at the bottom of the panel. I have 2 identical panels, and I have even thought that this brand has this lattice format, although I highly doubt it.

The photo from the YouTube app is where it is best seen.

    thanks in advance.

I have seen those lines with a bad tab bond connection, fixed with a shim and also with a faulty tcon. Make sure those cable connections are secure, not loose, inspect for damage and try cleaning the ribbon cables from tcon to panel and cable from mainboard to tcon or to driver board if no stand alone tcon, can use isopropyl alcohol, some use a pencil eraser, not too hard, they can be delicate.

thank you! you were right. I ran an eraser through the flex pins and solved the problem. Now I have another same panel, with a similar problem, but after using sealing on the flexes for a panel problem. Now it is more difficult to solve because I think the problem is putting tape to remove pins.

I return to the matter with the second TV of this brand and model. This one has a more important problem. No image was seen. The problem was in one half of the panel. I have used the method of covering pins of one of the flexes that goes to the oanel and it has worked. However, the image is not good. It has horizontal stripes. I'm going to put images of the complete TV, and the 2 parts of the panel separately. It can be seen that the error has not yet been fully resolved. However, the image is complete. Will there be a solution?

There's a lot of ways it can be shorted, all depending on where the short is, sometimes it can be made better with blocking one pin sometimes more, sometimes 8 pins, might have to experiment with where you put the tape and how many lines you block, usually trial and error and sometimes it's just not possible to get a decent display. Sometimes it's a component on a driver board that is the issue, check those recent threads, they cover it pretty well.

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
            by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
            • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
            • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

Extra lines and missing lines in Samsung ln46c630; panel looks fine
            by xeos
I have a Samsung smart TV, ln46c630 from 2011, with both vertical and horizontal lines corrupted. The panel looks physically fine, as does the rest of the tv housing. I got it from somebody who was putting it out for recycling pickup so I don't know the history, other than their comment that it WAS NOT dropped. Pictures attached of the issue and the boards inside. Yes, the board are abnormally dusty. But nothing obviously burnt or any bad caps.

At the least it seems like the power supply is good since I'm getting a well lit picture and the set seems to work properly, what I can...

Samsung UE70TU7020K Which lines to tape on a bad panel
            by learnmore
            Hello Community,

            I'm working on a Samsung UE70TU7020K.

It looks like a bad panel. There is only 1 FPC cable from the Tcon (built into mainboard) to the panel.

I'm using a piece of tap a few mils (covers about 8-10 pins), at different locations and have had varying results but nothing that is remotely watchable (multiple lines across all the screen, half screen and total black out on screen). The buffer board is divided into 3 boards. I've disconnected the end board one at a time but each time the screen was totally black. I presume it's because the potential...

Sharp (Hisense) LC-55p6050u - Flashing/dimming row of pixels
            by DrvLikHell
Hello again! I have come back for some wisdom and hopefully for some guidance with this problem I'm having. The TV is a 4k 55" Sharp LC-55p6050u and the problem is every other line of the bottom 32 lines flickers out, comes mostly back, then flickers out again, and repeats this continually. The lines on the bottom right of the screen go out completely while the lines on the bottom left are affected so slightly that it's almost impossible to see it. There is a gradual gradient from appearing almost perfectly fine on the bottom left, to an obvious problem on the bottom right.

            The...

Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 - Pink vertical lines due to chipped LCD panel?
            by Anonmis
Hello all, I was recently repairing my Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 tv from the common burnt backlight LED's and cracked light guide panel issue. After replacing the LED's and putting the TV back together, I tested the tv and all I was getting was sound but no image. Somewhere along the way (could be related to the next issue) the T-Con board became damaged and after replacing it I have made a little bit of progress but now have bright pink vertical lines and still no image.

The bigger issue .... I took the TV apart again and realized that I likely didn't sit the LCD panel correctly...
