    Vizio VO370M - Amber then white..no response

    Hello.
    I picked up a Vizio VO370M that seems to have a different symptom than others posted here. SO when I plug it in, the light starts amber and then glows white. no flashing. TV has no power, no backlight. So I took the following prelimary measurements. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

    Power Supply Connector CN202
    Pins
    ACO- 0V
    Status - 1.0V
    DCR - .90V
    Vbra - 0.0V
    On/OFF - 0.0
    DM - .05V

    Power Supply Connector CN201
    All the 5V and 12V pinouts are at 5V and 12V as required

      I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

      Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

      I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

      The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

      With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

      10 year old Vizio VO370M has intermittent flickering backlight

      I have this Vizio VO370M TV that I'd like to save because it has very low input lag (as good as the most expensive TVs sold today!, https://alantechreview.blogspot.com/...input-lag.html), but it has a very annoying issue: sometimes the backlight flickers (or is just kind of dim). The flicker is slower than 60hz, so we aren't just talking some kind of motion compensation).

      I was hoping maybe it was a power board issue (aka failing caps) but I opened it up and I don't see any that look bad. I have a budget capacitance/ESR meter if it's worth checking those...

      Hi.

      picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
      When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
      This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...

      yes im still fixing tvs...just not asking for help too often. but i got a puzzler here. tv has no response when plugged in. no standby light, no response to button presses. so i open up to check voltages, and of course thinking i will try to force the PSU on and that will tell me if PSU and BL are ok and most likely that MB is bad. but this tv does not have 5vsb, only 18vsb, so how do i know what kind of voltage to send to PSON and BLON to trick the PSU into turning on without MB? if they still should get 5v, where do i pull that from?
