hey guys i do a lot of tv repairs but this tv has stopped me in my paths
the problem i have it wont turn on just stays on orange ,reddish light as if its in stanby mode ,checked all caps etc all fine ,tried 2 other psu still the same

traced the sensor at the front to the main psu and to the av board ,i was thinking av board or sensor at fault ne 1 have any ideas pls

Checked PSU outputs with DMM? Even if PSU good, bad main board could pull them down. Sounds like bad main board to me.

hi tom do you mean main board as in the av board if do how do i go about checking it ive got a digi multi meter handy

Main board = AV board = SSB...

Set meter to 20VDC range, and measure each of the PSU outputs with red probe on output pin (press around pin sheath, the connector between main board and power board should be installed) and black probe on chassis. Compare against any PSU labels.
