LG 50PK550-UD XL BUFFER BOARD Blown Cap

So I am trouble shooting a LG Plasma that gives me a good spark (arch) on power up in the XL Buffer Board. It appears to be one of caps have blown (c115) but I am not sure why or how this happened. I have a new buffer board ready to go in but I am afraid that there is a good chance I made blow a cap on the new board. if anyone has dealt with this type of issue I would love to hear about it.

    Thanks

Those capacitors will probably be on the order of 100~220nF 100V. One will probably be blown, other will probably be OK. You could remove both and measure whichever one is OK.

They're probably both the same -- they usually are. So measure the good one and replace the bad one with the same value as the good one. Min 100V rating.
