TXP50V10E dying horizontal pixel line problem

    Hello badcaps.net community,

this actually my first visit of this forum and i need your help with my Panasonic Plasma screen. It's a TXP50V10E. I bought it back in 2009. It was once in repair at the panasonic service center in 2012. They had to replace the RFKBX0681A-M PC Board W/Component because it didn't turned on.

Now 1 year later I have another problem but I'm out of the garantie. So i have to DIY.

So here's the explainaton of the new problem:

When i turn on the screen, i have weird Problems with many pixels. When i get heated up, after like about 10 mins, the problem has gone mostly. Just 1 -2 lines left which have slight problems. The pictures will explain it best.

Here u can see the changes from minute to minute.

Can this be a heating problem so the A Board got crashed a bit or sth like that or what actually could cause this.

I have done a Panasonic Self Check and it says everything OK.

The screen has about 15000 Hours of usage read out of Panasonic Service menu.

Can anyone help me a bit? i can post a screen of the opened screen too if it helps.

So does it go into service mode and you can run the pattern tests to see if it'd panel or A-board related?

Re: TXP50V10E dying horizontal pixel line problem

I highly doubt it's a panel problem because if it were a panel problem it would be like that constantly not as it warms up it goes away I'm thinking that you need to pull the back of an Apply heat to the a board with a heat gun or a hair dryer and see if the problem goes away immediately when its cold if it does I suspect the a board to be bad

Re: TXP50V10E dying horizontal pixel line problem

Can u guys may tell me where actually the a board is?

Here is a picture of the opened screen.

Is it the on the right with the receiver on?

          EDIT:

Does someone of u guys may know what they actually replaced at the service center? Because if it is the broken component i would stilll have guruantee on this part. I can just say from the log they gave me that they repaired the following part: RFKBX0681A-M PC BOARD W/COMPONENT

Re: TXP50V10E dying horizontal pixel line problem

Think there referring to the big bottom right board where all the inputs go. Im talking about applying heat to the bottom center board. The square one. Its considered a control board. Try that ine. If no change try the input board.

I tested it with a hair dryer. (no heating gun)

When heating up the middle small square platine nothing changed. when i heated up the input board picture got better.

Not immediatly but way more fast then waiting to heat up on herself. I just took 1-2 minutes.

Either that board is malfunctioning or its something in the vicinity of that board. Im im coing to step out on a limb and say that may be the same board that was replaced by the company. So it may very well be under some warranty still.

The part "RFKBX0681A" is from a Panasonic DVD player, which is rather odd? Is that definitely from the right receipt?

Oh shit damn it. Then i failed because i kept the wrong paper. Yes the DVD Player was too once in repair at the same time at panasonic service center. And i thought i had the one of the TV. Shit so i can't look up which component they changed.

I will try call them after christmas and may they still have it in their database, and i will talk with them directly about this problem.

But as it seems now u guys would may say that the input board is broken.

So a small side question of me is if they do not handle this guruantee which i highly doubt, where should i try to buy one new and what will it cost if someone know. Should i try buying one directly from the panasonic service center at my place?

Well if you want to pay an arm and a leg go panasonic. If you want to do this inexpensive go ebay. Just note the part number on the board including revision numbers and model number of your tv.

oh and another question I noticed on your pictures there seems to be a white square in the upper left hand corner is that actually showing up on the screen or is that just a reflection?

I will try buy it anywhere cheap x) The white square is just the text of the tv saying HDMI is selected. I don't know why its that shiny on the pictures. Propably because of the bad camera.

I just started fixing 4k TV few months ago. so I am still learning a lot
I got this tv from friend complaint is ghosting or horizontal lines on image.

never saw the original symptom but I took the tv back home. the funny part is that after bringing to home, the tv worked fine no issue for 3 weeks.
then it started to show the ghosting white image.
I started using the tape method, but this tv does not have a T con board and it has only 1 ribbon cable from main board to the tv panel.
it has 3 thin small boards at the bottom of the...

                                  Hi to all,

I was given this TV, an entry-level 4K 50" set. Some have criticized its lack of contrast and relatively poor colour rendering, but for my needs, it's very decent.

I reset everything to factory settings, but this line keeps on fading in and out when watching a streaming channel from the Tizen firmware. Interestingly, it only happens when TV is warm, after about 1h45 of it being turned on.

Watching a movie from an external source doesn't trigger the line as easily (needs 2 hours), and from a normal viewing distance, is hardly noticeable. It...

                                  Hi guys!

I'm new to TV repair and just started looking into troubleshooting guides and other online info.

Right now I have a Chinese make with LG display that is faulty. If I am not wrong I see two different problems here below.

                                  1. There is a line(white/multicolored) at the very top of the display that shows thinner sometimes and slightly thicker in some occasions.

                                  2. For any video the play freezes 1-3 secs and at the same time brightness goes low and returns to high when video continue to play.

                                  From my initial research...
