    Phillips 42pf9630a/37 7 red blinks

Here is another (and probably next to last from my batch of 7 that I got in a bundle) tv to figure out. Got this one somewhat diagnosed as a Y sus issue.

    Symptoms:
    No power 7 red blinks
Power board error code of 3 blinks (VSet)

Multimeter Readings TV plugged in with error code present
    Power board to Y sus
    D5V 0.73v
    Vg 0.37v
    VScan 0.07v
VSet 18v but falls to nothing while plugged in
    VS 2.2v
    VS 1.9v falling

Unplugged each Y buffer, no change

Unplugged Y sus main from power board and tv powered on with no blink codes.

So I am thinking I need a new Y sus and maybe buffers. Problem is the $ for them. I have no desire to sink more than $60 into the set because I probably would only get $100 selling it. The sus can be had for that 60 but the buffers along with it adds another 100.

I would like to diagnose if the buffers are in fact bad if able and if they are good, fix the board itself if able.

I am a bit reluctant to spend money on this as I sunk way to much into a Philips 42pf7320a/37 before I just junked it. This one is just a couple model upgrades.

    Thanks all

OK, found the Coppell blog for this:http://blog.coppelltvrepair.com/2010...er-boards.html

Upper board I got 125 ohms set to 200k. Lower I got 0.0 both directions.

Also found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51SZsfH60EY which was a nice short video and I got no readings on upper but shorts on bottom.

Is my reasoning sound good the upper should be working?
