Do you notice any pattern to the fault, for example does it only occur on louder sounds, when the volume is turned up or after some time of usage?

Hi , Sorry I am replying late . What is that there no sound at all most of the time . I had someone told me it is the motherboard ? Can I on change a sound card or do I have to change the whole motherboard ?

      Thanks

Typically on most LCD TVs the audio amplifier is on the main board (=motherboard.) But, it's not always the main board at fault. A defective speaker could cause this, as could a power supply problem. Do you have a digital multimeter for diagnosis? Have you checked to see if the headphone output, if available, is also affected?

Probably an audio chip, not an audio card. Have you tried headphones?
