    Yes and it was bad as well. I'm trying to find suitable replacements but don't know what brand or series to use. From what I can tell, the package size is 0402. Its about a millimeter in length.

        My new digital caliper just came in the mail. The caps between pins 14, 15, which are same as ones missing, measured 1.04mm. So I think that would be the 0402 package.

            Those caps that are missing. Does the pin of the ic where they are missing from generate the error? Maybe they were deliberately removed by someone else trying to track down this problem
            Did I leave the soldering iron on?

                Looking at the data sheet for it, it looks like it might generate the error. It does have over and undervoltage protect circuits. I actually think its the BE Micro IC3001 that generates the error though.

                    Well, its back to the old drawing board. Those two caps and the fuses came today. Put them in but its still doing the same thing. LED still blinking 6 times. I does try to fire the inverter 3 times though. I'm wondering if its time to start looking at the inverter board.

                        Never going to believe this. The backlight problem is solved. There was a wire harness coming from the balancer which goes to CN6701on the power board. Someone worked on this before I got it. The harness was wedged up under the power board. So, now the backlights come on. New problem. The attached pic is what it does when first plugged in. If I turn it off then back on it is just a black screen. Once it went to a grey screen. Backlights are on though. Also, the pic/timer light and the standby light are both on.

                            Hello,

                            I have a Samsung DM32D display.
                            When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

                            Here’s what I have tried so far:
                            1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
                            2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
                            3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

                            From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

                            Hello everyone,
                            i am trying to repair a Sony KDL-55HX820 led TV which is throwing error code 4 (standby led flashing four times).

                            I followed the troubleshooting flowchart at page 69, and between pin1 and pin7 of CN6002 i am reading 1.91V so i guess i can rule out the B Board as the culprit.
                            Before ordering new G* Boards (by the way, should i change both? it is not specified in the manual) i wanted to try and do more advanced troubleshooting since i've read in other threads people resolving their problems on the 46/55 HX 820/823/825 models by replacing the Samsung led...

                            This "free from a friend who was going to recycle it" SONY BRAVIA XBR-55A8H arrived with the bottom center RED LED repeating a four flash pattern. It was treated with kid gloves and was reported to have "just gone dead" and the OLED panel has no dents in the metal frame or cracks.

                            Thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1091829 helped in proceeding as follows:
                            1) Unplugged, then plugged set in while holding the remote VOL- and Power to factory reset.

                            2) Waited 30 seconds, then pressed remote Power button and "Select language"...

                            Hello,

                            I have problem with SONY 55X90J. After several check status is as below;
                            1. Running power board as stand alone:

                            TCON_12V =~ 12.6V
                            EVDD V On Max 24V= 19V.

                            2.                            Running power board with TCON as stand alone:

                            Effect as below, attched.

                            3. When bottom LVDS cable is disconnected no blinks, but of course no TCON 12V and EVDD.
                            "I'm almost sure it's a defective panel, but maybe someone has encountered a similar issue on their screen.

                            Hi everyone. First post on Badcaps!

                            I am trying to fix a Sony 940E from 2017 that either starts normally (and works perfectly until turned off) or goes straight to the 6 blinks error code without showing anything on the screen. It is frustrating to know that it can still work perfectly but is barely usable because of the difficulty starting it up. I am willing to try to short the BL_ERR but I would like to avoid that if possible. Does anyone have a view on this? Thanks a lot....
