Do you have a multimeter to test the power supply? You can find the service manual HERE near the bottom of the page there is a Get manual in tiny font I will try to attach it as well.

Disconnect the cable between the power supply and the Main board, apply the power to the TV, the backlights should come on and stay on, if it does, the power supply and the Inverter are OK.

Hello Calib and budm, thanks you very much for your time. I already disconnect the cable from Power supply to the mainboard. The backlights turned ON with minimal light (not so bright), is it normal? If in this case the mainboard is the culprit is it possible to repair it? Again thanks a lot for your support.

The backlights stay on, that is good, it means that the main baord is not sending the turn on signals to the power supply board. I never have luck fixing the Samsung main board yet.

Thanks Budm, do you have any idea how much the main board cost?

Samsung UE46D6100 LED TV blinking red light indicator
                by 3DDD
Hello, I have a Samsung UE46D6100. It cannot be turned on, only the red status LED flashes, the power supply part bn44-00458a gives an output of 5V(A), it is probably functional. I don't know where to look for the error, according to the video it should be a faulty mosfet. I found a mosfet marked WAAH, I don't know what it is. Can anyone help me?...

                • Prior owner tried a replacement main board. No difference.
                • Samsung 2x red blinking standby LED = panel fault
                • Jumpered FB_TRDY_1 (pin 1 CN1300 left. main tcon->left side buffer boards) and FB_TRDY_3 (pin 95 CN1301 right. main tcon->right side buffer boards) This allows testing individual T-Con (on main board) connection to panel on this Samsung. Found fault on left side (viewing from rear of TV)
                • Each side has 2 buffer boards, disconnected left side flex between 2 buffer boards. Fault is on the left most board.

                MB: BN94-12832K

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...sung-qled-q60r...

                Samsung UE60KS7000 No Standby Light
                by marcinq
                Hello,

I've got a problem with a Samsung UE60KS7000 that was given to me and said that there was a problem with the One Connect box but as I understand the TV should turn on even with the One Connect box disconnected (which it doesn't). There is no stand by light.

I've disconnected the Main Board from the PSU and when connecting to mains the backlight turns on which suggests the PSU might be ok. I've measured the voltages out of the PSU and they seem reasonable (like the labels say). The main board has no obvious burns, there are no shorts on the power rails anywhere....
