Re: panasonic viera red half screen
That is nonsense - no way an A board can kill the D.

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
Well what else can it be? The LVDS cable could be dodgy, which is the cause almost all of the time.Leave a comment:

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
Uh, you got me. No blinks? The TV -was- working before you did the swap? You've possibly forgotten to plug something in or damaged something due to ESD (electrostatic discharge)?Leave a comment:

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
it does it everytime tv will stay on 1 minute or more then flashing starts it gets faster then the clicking starts with it then shuts down flashing 1 red light checked the service report from you and I done procedure disconnected this n that and it final outcome was replace d boardLeave a comment:

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
powering off is normal tom its error 1 even when it shuts down 1 flash according to the service manual and it confirms d board failureLeave a comment:

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
yeah the powering off happens after I get a normal screen then red flashes then gets faster then the clicking then powers downLeave a comment:

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
You've gotta match the suffix stamped in the yellow box after TNPA.....
I do not know about the powering off. Check all power connectors seated, power must be off while doing so.Leave a comment:

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
Well I think the original fault was LVDS if that's any consolation but a D board fault has now appeared. Perhaps both were present and first was hard to see.Leave a comment:

by Zelek11My Panasonic Plasma model P55VT50 has started displaying "interference" on just the left half of the screen only (left when facing the screen). Sometimes it's concentrated in about the first 30 seconds after startup, then disappears. Other times it's fine at startup and then randomly does it later on. When it flashes the interference it's very quick and doesn't stay on the screen unless it flashes repeatedly in a row.
This image is a screen shot from a video I took. This is an example of the interference at its worst. Often the interference is much smaller...10-14-2022, 04:54 PM -
Hi,
Trying to work out if this is TFT problem or TCon issue.
The TV powers up but the top half of the screen, from the right it is OK, but as you look across to the left halfway across it starts get duller and duller until it is very dark on the lefthand side, currently I trying to clean the remote as it seems to have something film wise on the pads stopping it from registering buttons pressed.
Also when changing the screen size of Windows PC display to say to a smaller pixel sizewindow, the original window displayin the top left stays/takes a few seconds to disappear?...2 Photos -
by ChrissygizmoHello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same... -
by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
by renechhello,
I hope someone on this forum can assist me.
I have a panasonic TH-42PC77U plasma television.
the lower 1/2 of the screen has become flaky....in and out, then finally goes black and you can only see the top portion.
i have performed the reset to default settings quite a few times. Panasonic recommended..did not believe this would help...it didn't.
I have removed the back panel and looked around for something obvious...burn marks in a board, etc....nothing obvious...
I have read some posts that suggest the problem is related to the boards on the left... - Loading...
