    Question about ordering replacement parts!

Hey all, I've decided to order a replacement Y-Main board for my Samsung 50" Plasma display (PN50C590G4FXZC).. It's my first time ordering parts and very few sites make mention of compatibility specifically for the XZC, even though many boards are identical they only guarantee compatibility with the XZA models. As I am new to ordering boards I have a few questions.. Firstly does the card need to be the EXACT same? As an example i've found many cards which match the PCB and PBA's but have a varied revision #. Does the revision need to match or are all revisions compatible? (I've found numerous cards with a Rev: 1.2 where as mine is a 1.3) Also the "AA6" revision.. I've found multiple cards with "CA7" "AA3" revisions.. Any help would be appreciated as I'm trying to get my order in today!

    Thanks!

ShopJimmy makes mention of the LJ92 part number as being important: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1jmj_foId0

Macbook pro logic board replacement parts quesion

i have a 2020 macbook pro 13" A2251 with 820-09149 logic board so i found an issue with chip labeled U6903 according to schem. boardview using flexBV software, so i removed it from the board and the issue im having is that the chip says "07A08FI ELC180" on top of it but when searching for a replacement chip, i can find tons of identical looking chips that also have "ELC180" printed on them but the first set of digits is never the same so im trying to find out if i need this exact chip with these same numbers as mine and if not which ones are compatible as a replacement?...

Trying to understand how to find best replacement cap for old parts.

Disclaimer: This is the first time I step into the realm of analog electronics and my natural language is not English, so please forgive me if I failed to use the correct terms when describing things.

Recently I purchased a Tektronix TDS1012, a 20 years old product for cheap and I thought it could be a nice opportunity for playing (i.e. recapping) and learn something in the process.
The power supply board is exactly the same from this post so I'll just steal it for now.

Hi everyone. I caused a short by removing the eDP cable without unplugging the battery. A component near the connector smoked. Does anyone know the value/part number of this burnt component? Looks like it's part L9 in the schematic...

      3090 FE Part Confirm/Identification
      by H H
      Hello,

I'm hoping someone could help me confirm if I have identified the following parts correctly.

Apparently the DP cable became stuck inside the graphics card and was yanked out. This caused some sort of short which burned the DP contacts and blew some resistors and ferrite beads.

The parts needing replacement are on the back of the board behind the HDMI input.

I have identified the parts as the following:

      C6037: MLCC 0.1uf/16v(0402)x7R W05

      R6016: RES 499 OHM 1/16W (0402) 1%

      LB10911: Ferrite Bead (0402)...

Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01 Schematic and Parts List
      by Mark D
The TV is a Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01. I replaced the power source board and the TV is now working, but I decided to try and troubleshoot the old board to fix at the component level. Trying to get a schematic and a parts list has proven to be an issue. Trying on my own, I can't tell you how many times my Norton security has flagged sites as "malicious". I ordered a service manual from ServiceManuals.net, paid $16.99 and got 66 pages of everything BUT schematics and component parts list! Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Some of the surface mounted component parts...
