I have a 2009 Sony KDL-32L5000 LCD tv that i use mostly as a computer monitor. A few days ago it developed a weird inverted ghost image that flickers and is present in both input signals and the tv's on screen menu. It was originally present for about two days then went away for a day and returned. It seems funny to me that the ghost image is inverted vertically. I am thinking its the T-Con board, but would like a second opinion.

Re: sony kdl-32l5000
The kdl-32l4000 version suffers from tab bond issues:

Ah, didn't pay close enough attention to the inverted image. I wonder if you have a main board problem. Main board and panel issues are common in Sonys when they fail, so I'd suspect one or the other.Last edited by capkid; 08-08-2013, 05:21 PM.

Re: sony kdl-32l5000
Both effects can be caused by tab bonds. Inverted picture on its own sometimes can be caused by tab bonds on some panels -- not sure how but it is a known, fairly uncommon issue. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
