Hi, I am new here, hoping to learn how i might figure out the problem with my tv/monitor. i cannot start a new topic. i want to explain my problem so i might get some feedback, what might be the issue so i can read up on it. samsung syncmaster 242 mp, it worked fine, no problem with picture. one day it would not turn on, the green light was off. i unplugged it for awhile, couple hours, then plugged back in. green light came on, tv turned on, worked fine. next day, green light off, would not turn on. but now, green light ceases to come on. something to do with power supply i am guessing, voltage regulator? does that seem the issue? thanks in advance
