I replaced the p/s bd
the LED power on is lit
and i get a volt on the p/s bd, when i capacitively iduce a potential from the [power on bd]
thru the main bd, to the p/s [pwr/supply PCB ass'y]
on the p/s bd @ 120vac mains power [no tyr turn on] the only voltage p/s bd is std 6v [high but this is A 5v]
on the p/s bd and only for 8sec's, I will have B 5v, Vcc 15v [probably 2v hi] there is also a 12vdc @ LD i guess this is going to p/s to step-up to HV high voltage [not sure]
the ps_on is sitting mv when finger press pwr/on it goes to a volt
so to re-cap...
...the HV was unplugged to see if the 5v 12v & 13v would stay...no
...the panel bd [thin ribbon conn] was unpluuged to see if V's would remain 8sec's...no
looked like p/s bd problem so replaced it = same
my gut says main bd is shutting it down
maybe it doesn't like that the 5v = 6v & the 12v=13v & the 13v = 15vdc
i am an old school tech fixed a few of everything
master of nothin' cept baiting
i hate to buy a main bd now that i spent $123+ on p/s
is there a voltage reg [ic] that is also a tripler on the main bd?
b/c we only have 5v working [not die under load]

. It is a hotel TV, with a slightly different version of the Tizen operating system than the TVs at home.
